Baru nemu email ini, ternyata masih ada di inbox gw. Kejadiannya tahun 2006, pas kelas 3 SMA, zaman-zamannya jungkir balik cari tempat kuliah.

Yap, itu adalah bukti salah satu kegagalan dalam hidup gw. Selain juga merupakan bukti gw udah pengen kuliah di luar negeri sejak SMA. Hahaha. Semoga kesampean buat S2 dan S3. Amin. ^^

Tapi setelah gw pikir-pikir, bagi gw lebih baik dapet seribu surat penolakan kayak gini daripada nggak nyoba sama sekali sehingga penasaran. Penasaran bikin hidup nggak tenang, kan?

Balada Orang Indonesia Norak dan Salju.

Di post ini gw akan mengumbar ke-norak-an orang Indonesia yang baru pertama kali lihat salju. Which means membuka aib sendiri )

Segala hal norak yang mungkin bisa dilakukan di tengah salju, telah gw lakukan.

Bela-belain ngebuka sarung tangan dan megang-megang salju sampe tangan beku dan mati rasa. Foto-foto. Bikin boneka salju. Segala hal childish yang sudah dilakukan anak-anak empat musim sejak balita. Gyahaha.

Sampai post ini ditulis, selama musim dingin ini, Iizuka baru tiga kali bersalju:

• 19 Desember 2009: sekitar 4 cm. Sayangnya gw nggak lihat karena waktu itu pergi ke Kyoto -_-
• 31 Desember 2009: sekitar 4 cm. Masih tipis. Pertama kalinya gw bener-bener menikmati salju ^^
• 13 Januari 2010: sekitar 6-7 cm. Ini udah yang paling tebel untuk ukuran Iizuka. Yes! Makin tebel makin bagus.

Kebetulan di Kyushu, kata orang-orang yang udah lama di sini, saljunya nggak begitu banyak. Selama musim dingin, hanya beberapa hari turun salju, dan  itupun nggak banyak. Mungkin setelah salju tebel tanggal 13 Januari ini, nggak turun salju lagi.

Bagi gw kalimat tersebut terdengar sebagai “ayo nikmati mumpung masih ada saljunya!” ^^

Walaupun ketika salju, jalan kaki jadi sulit, dan cuaca dingin banget, gw nggak peduli. Gw suka salju. Isn’t it nice when your neighborhood looks white and clean like a totally different world? It’s a recipe for good mood! ^^
